This is a Sample itinerary of what the charter could entail:

Day One / Night  One – Eden Island Marina, Mahe

Board Valerie in the evening after being collected by taxi from the airport. The boarding time will depend on your flight arrival at Seychelles International Airport; but generally between it will be 6pm to 9pm. Settle in with a welcoming  drink and  snack as your host prepares you for your adventure with a ‘difference.’ Should you want you can explore the Eden Island metropolis with its classy bars and restaurants. There are shops and ATM’s should you need anything before your departure.

Day Two / Night Two – Destination St Joseph‘s Atoll

Depart the Eden Island Marina at 7am for St Joseph Atoll with breakfast served en route. Enjoy blue water fishing during the sail. St. Joseph’s Atoll is  a small inner ring of islands which can be found 250 km south-west of Mahé. Once owned by a prominent Seychellois family, the islands later belonged to what was once the Iranian royal family, following which it was purchased by the L’Oréal heiress Liliane Bettencourt who owned it until 2012. It was sold by her for 60 million US dollars and remains in private ownership whilst being managed by the Save Our Seas Foundation. In 2014 it was officially designated a nature reserve.                                                                                                                                                             

Day Three / Night Three – St Joseph’s Anchorage

Arrive St Joseph early morning and spend the day at anchor fishing, snorkelling and diving in the pristine waters. Spend the night on anchor at St Joseph with sundowners and dinner served on the boat.                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Day Four / Night Four – Destination Poivre Atoll

Depart St Joseph’s after breakfast for a 3 hour sail to Poivre Island to spend the afternoon and night at anchor to relax, fish or dive. The remote islands of Poivre Atoll remained undiscovered until the 1770’s which has provided a quiet reprieve for various species to flourish. In recent years, the atoll’s landscapes have become a popular nesting ground for bird species like Chinese and Blue Heron, Whimbrels, fodies, noddies, Greater Frigate birds and Fairy Terns. The sandy shores are also important nesting grounds for Hawksbill and Green Turtles.

Day Five / Night Five – Destination Desroches Island

After a hearty breakfast we will leave for a short sail of 4 hours to Desroches to spend the afternoon fishing, snorkelling & diving.  Desroches forms part of the Amirantes group of islands – a remote coral atoll approximately 230 km southwest of Mahé in the Seychelles. Strewn with coconut trees, Desroches Island is approximately 6 km long, 1 km wide and boasts 14 km of immaculate white, soft, sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. A remote paradise.

Day Six / Night Six – Explore Desroches Island & Depart for Mahe    

Spend the day exploring, fishing and  diving around Desroches. Leave for Mahe after dinner for an 18 hour sail back to Mahe. Spend the sailing day relaxing & fishing off the boat for game fish along the way.

Day Seven / Night Seven –    Arrive West Coast Anchorage, Mahe

Anchor off the West coast of Mahe for the night in one of the beautiful bays with magnificent sunsets.                                                                                                                                                                  

Day Eight – Return to Eden Island Marina, Mahe

Leave after breakfast for a short sail back to Eden Island Marina where you will disembark at around 10am.
