Day One / Night  One – Arrival at Eden Island Marina, Mahe & Depart for Alphonse Atoll

Board Valerie in the evening after being collected by taxi from the airport. The boarding time will depend on your flight arrival at Seychelles International Airport; but generally between it will be 6pm to 9pm. Settle in with a welcoming  drink and  snack as your host prepares you for your adventure with a ‘difference.’ After a sail briefing we will set sail for Alphonse Island. Prepare for your Blue-Water adventure.

Day Two / Night Two – Arrive  Alphonse Atoll

After a 30 hour sail with blue-water fishing en-route we will arrive at the anchorage in the late afternoon or earlier depending on the wind strength. Spend the night at anchor off Alphonse. Alphonse Atoll is  a nature lover’s paradise and is one of the world’s most pristine, untouched Aquatic Edens. What truly distinguishes Alphonse Island is that it is one the most outstanding fishing destinations in the world.                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Day Three / Night Three – Alphonse Anchorage

Today will be spent exploring and diving or fishing.  Alphonse thanks to its remote location features a variety of endemic vegetation, animal life and exquisite marine life that call the surrounding azure waters their home. The sandy beaches and coconut forests make it a quiet retreat as well as breeding ground for a host of migratory seabirds and turtles. With over 130 bird species recorded, guests can expect glimpses of Red-footed boobies and frigatebirds. Alphonse island is also home to a small reintroduced population of Aldabra giant tortoises. Spend the night at anchor off Alphonse.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Day Four / Night Four – Alphonse Anchorage. 

Explore the nearby  Bijoutier and St Francois Atolls where the fly-fishing and diving are spectacular. Alphonse also features a luxury lodge and spar where you can enjoy the amenities for the day.

Day Five / Night Five – Depart for Cosmoledo Island

After a hearty breakfast we set sail for the remote Cosmoledo Island. Blue-water fishing along the way.                                                                                                                                                                                           

Day Six / Night Six – Sail to Cosmoledo Island

Under sail to Cosmoledo Game fishing along the way.                                                                                                                                                                                             

Day Seven / Night Seven – Sail to Cosmoledo Island

Arrive at Cosmoledo after an approximately 48 hour sail. Spend the night on anchor to awake to a sunrise on the beautiful Island.

Day Eight / Night Eight – Cosmoledo Anchorage

Cosmoledo is an activities paradise run by Blue Safaris. SeaTribe guests are welcome to book the Blue Safari guided activities which  include guided kayaking around the atolls, guided stand up paddle-boarding, a guided tours across to Wizard Island for guests to familiarise themselves with the coastal trails and most secret spots on the island, and lastly the reef flats expedition where one travels the inside reef flats of Cosmoledo with a knowledgeable guide. Very little SCUBA diving has been done around Cosmoledo to date, making for a thrilling and unique diving experience, with new dive sites constantly being discovered. Cosmoledo is also an important bird area and holds Seychelles’ largest colonies of all three species of booby that breed in Seychelles, including the last viable population of Brown Booby. Enjoy bird watching excursions with an expert guide. The bluewater and fly fishing is world-class, and guests have access to some of the top fly fishing guides in the world.

Day Nine / Night Nine  – Anchor off Cosmoledo

Day Eleven / Night Eleven  – Depart for Mahe

Start the sail back to Mahe of approximately 600 miles, the options can be to stop over for a day or two at Alphonse or to sail directly back to Mahe.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Day Twelve / Night Twelve  – Sailing to Mahe

Arrive back in Mahe & disembark at Eden Island Marina. This voyage is for the seasoned sailor fisherman, explorer & is not recommended for those that might be prone to sea sickness.       

Day Thirteen / Night Thirteen  – Sailing to Mahe

Arrive back in Mahe & disembark at Eden Island Marina. This voyage is for the seasoned sailor fisherman, explorer & is not recommended for those that might be prone to sea sickness.   

Day Fourteen / Night Fourteen  – Sailing to Mahe

Arrive back in Mahe & disembark at Eden Island Marina. This voyage is for the seasoned sailor fisherman, explorer & is not recommended for those that might be prone to sea sickness.   

Day Fifteen – Arrive at Eden Island, Mahe

Arrive back in Mahe and  disembark at Eden Island Marina.
